A prosthetic receiving chamber is a lumen-like part of a prosthetic limb that accommodates the amputee's stump. It is a connecting part between the stump and the prosthesis, and has the function of bearing weight and suspending the prosthesis.
The prosthesis receiving chamber generally has ABS resin, PP sheet and carbon fiber three kinds of materials. ABS is a light yellow granular or beaded opaque resin, non-toxic, tasteless, low water absorption, with good comprehensive physical and mechanical properties, such as excellent electrical properties, wear resistance, dimensional stability, chemical resistance and surface gloss, and easy to process and form.
